| Hey Guys ,
| I was succesful installing IE 6.0 and the upgrades aside from one for
| flash player. When I installed the DLINK from the CD rom ( same version as
| you posted ) the driver installed , device manager sees it as working
| prioperly but I got a DHCP error on reboot. This is not the same error I
had
| before CRYPT etc etc
| A friend says the card cannot commun icate with that error. I am going
| out to see if I can either get an old USB or PCMCIA card for win 98 First
| Edition over here in Greece. ANy other thoughts would be greatly
appreciated
| TIA
| Peter
You need to check the setup for the device and your other network settings
under Networking to ensure all are setup properly. You may have more than
one device configured to assign DHCP/IP addressing, or you may have none
configured. You'll need to run through your router, network setup, and
firewall setings completely.
You'll also need to check IE's settings as well.
