Dedicate a cmd.exe in c++

Hi,<br/> I want a dedicated cmd.exe in my program to execute the dos commands.<br/> let me explain you with an example.<br/> <br/> i want to navigate to a folder from c:data to c: and execute dir command after it to view the directory contents of c:.<br/> <br/> If i use System() ,it spwans a new cmd.exe every time.<br/> <br/> Do i have a possibility where i could have a single cmd.exe for the entire program.?????<br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> <br/>
