We are upgrading our product platform from WinXp to Win7.
Because of some 3D rendering issues, we would like to enable Aero for composition.
When Aero is enabled, the look and feel of our application changes dramatically.
We have been unable to find a way to maintain the look which consisted of things like black menus with white text, and solid colors for title bars, when Aero is enabled.
We have noticed that Office Communicator 2007 R2 does not conform to the Aero rendering scheme (the title bar is a different color gradient, and the menus are a custom shade), and in fact looks almost identical in WinXP and Win7, no matter what theme was
used. How was Office Communicator able to do this?
