I have been trying to create a zip file for my introduction to visual basic course but none of the files will open properly. I have tried using 7zip and WinZip to create the zip files. I find the parent folder under documents/visual basic 2010/projects,
right click it, then use one of these programs to create a zip file. The file then shows up in the projects folder, but when I (or my professor) try to open any of the components of the zip file, visual basic starts up and it simply states:
"The following files were specified on the command line:
C:/users/owner/appdata/local/temp/7zOA195.tmp/lab4.sln
These files could not be found and will not be loaded."
This happens to every single file I try to zip, and the files will not open on either my professors or my own computer.
Does anybody know what Im doing wrong? This method of zipping files is EXACTLY how the professor showed me to do it and is also the method that every other student uses to zip their project files and submit them. I need to know what is wrong so I can submit
my homework. Please help!
