Before he was known as the Mayor of Appsterdam, legendary product engineer and worlds toughest programmer http://yowaustralia.com.au/general/details.html?speakerId=2964" target="_blank Mike Lee (@bmf) worked on apps for Alaska Airlines, Delicious Monster, Tapulous, United Lemur, Apple, and Nextive, producing such hits as Delicious Library, Tap Tap Revenge, Obama 08, and Apples Mobile Store.
After he established Amsterdam as the world capital of app development, Mike moved on to start the New Lemurs, an Appsterdam startup building educational games, with the coolest URL of all time: http://le.mu.rs. (Followed closely by the URL for his blog, http://mur.mu.rs)
Here, Mike tells us about what hes been up to since we talked last time (one year ago). Needless to say, Mike has been rather busy. His new company, http://le.mu.rs/" target="_blank New Lemurs , has just released their first game, http://le.mu.rs/chemistry/" target="_blank Lemurs Chemistry: Water , which is a modern, interactive take on the chemistry of H2O or water, geared towards children of all ages. As youd expect, theres at least one great story behind this game. Quiz: What do you think a Transdimensional Portal is? No, not science fiction a la Dr. Who, but rather something that exists today, in the center of Amsterdam inside one of the citys oldest buildings, ready for you to experience. Tune in. Its Mike Lee.
Really to glad to have Mike on Channel 9 again. Thanks, Mike!
