Re: Enable both Aero and Glass in Vista Home Basic

It should be interesting to see how Microsoft responds to this, since Aero
Glass to be honest is 'just a theme' although some can say the experience
itself, the window transparency itself, I want to see how they handle that.

Re: Enable both Aero and Glass in Vista Home Basic

Shouldn't be an issue. Glass2K is just using the transparent layered Window
features that were introduced in Win2K.

I use it or similar tool on Vista Ultimate to create a see-thru transparency
on my Explorer Windows and Various applications.

Re: Enable both Aero and Glass in Vista Home Basic

The thing is, MS touts Aero Glass as one of the reasons and top features of
the Premium Vista SKUs.

Re: Enable both Aero and Glass in Vista Home Basic

Look at the screenshot again, it's nothing like aero glass, it makes the
entire window (including contents) transparent.
