We have a 2003 Terminal server with 10 licenses. We also have a Windows 2000
server. Can we install Terminal Server Licensing on the Windows 2000 server
to use the Windows 2000 server as a terminal server also or is there a better
way to do this ? Can the 10 current licenses be used on the Windows 2000
server when we do this ?

Thanks

Hi,

A 2003 TS Licensing server will issue TS CALs to 2003
and 2000 TS servers. What type of TS CALs do you own?

Windows 2000 has no concept of Per User TS CALs, only
Per Device TS CALs. Windows 2000, XP Pro, and Vista
Business/Ultimate/Enterprise clients will receive a free TS
CAL when connecting to a 2000 TS server.
