Hi all. I have been looking all over the WWW trying to find this one sole thing. Can you make an equalizer in visual basic, and if so, could you point me in the right direction.
Let me give you some background knowledge of what Im doing. I an making a simple game for my programming class which is a spin off of Guitar Hero. So you might be asking yourself, "okay, soo?". but i want the game EXTREMELY user friendly. So heres what Im trying to accomplish. a user imports a song of their choice to play. Now this is what i need help with, i have a 15 "bar/stack" equalizer lined up alone the bottom of the screen. Each pixel gain is equal to one...(what ever makes the equalizer rise and fall). If youre still not with me, think of a DJs display, some where on there theres like a histogram or line graph that displays output of sound and the louder each category gets, the higher it goes and vice-versa.

/ this is what Im trying to make /
(the bars move up as the beat goes, volume, whatever triggers it)
any help or guidance into a direction would be GREATLY appreciated
