Tried to e-file my 2012 Form 1040, was rejected with the following message. Could someone tell me what the hell this means and how do I fix it???
The IRS has rejected your federal return. This means that your return has not been filed.
Heres the reason for the rejection:
Field/Xpath: /efile:Return[1]/efile:ReturnData[1]/efile:IRS1040[1]/efile:QualifiedF8814Cd[1]
Issue : The XML data has failed schema validation.
Field/Xpath: /efile:Return[1]/efile:ReturnData[1]/efile:IRS1040[1]/efile:OrdinaryF8814Cd[1]
Issue : The XML data has failed schema validation.
