Hi All,

Could anyone tell me how to transfer Win2000 all setting from old PC to new
PC?

All Settings? Cloning the install would be the only way to do that.

If transfer the AD and policy to another PC such as the users and password,
how can i do?

besides, could i use the import/export function that like the Outlook
Express for rebuild the user and group policy?

Hello tlee,

You can not move users from Active directory in this way. You have build
a new Domain controller in the same domain and after replication occurs,
the seconad machine also has the information. But there are more steps needed
if you will do it and you have really to read/learn more about Active Directory.

It isn't as straightforward as that. Another PC may have different
hardware so any settings which are reliant on hardware drivers on your
old machine won't work with the new one, unless it's a clone.
