Keypress,Keyup event in vb.net

explain keypress,keyup,keydown event with examples ? ( i have lot of forms, and in each form have a lot of textbox and list box, i want to do the same thing for all textbox in each form, for example if textbox is empty then show warning msg box,
, press up arrow then select first item of the list box,press down arrow then select last item of the listbox, etc ) in vb.net
