I am new to Microsoft development environment. I am a Lotus Notes developper for big time. Almost developping client and web apps in notes since 14 years.
We decided to move all of these notes apps to SharePoint 2007. I wanted to develop some test apps using Visual Studio 2008 and deploy them on SP2007. Can I develop apps on VS2008 client then copy those files/web pages to SP2007? Please help me what do I need to achieve this task. I am starting with VS2008. Am I going in right direction? Can I do it without having web development server? Please give me your valuable suggestions.
