ts 2003 and ts 2000 on same domain

I have 2 servers.
fs1 (2k3)(running ts, user lic. mode)(License server)
fps01 (2k srv)(running ts, device mode?)

fs1 is running the ts licensing server and the ts license manager it shows

fps01 (license detail window blank)
fs1: Existing windows 2000 server cal token built in (per device) unlimited
issued=0
Temporary licenses for windows 2003 server-per device cal token issued=8
Windows server 2003 - TS per user cal token 5=available issued=not
applicable

I checked my licensing mode on the 2003 server and it is per user (which is
correct as i purchased per user TS licenses)

My clients that are connecting to the 2003 terminal server show temporary
device cals and the expiration date is rapidly approaching July 20th. Does
this mean that after July 20th they wont be able to connect to the Windows
2000 TS server but continue to keep connecting to the windows 2003 TS server?

What about my other clients that need to continue connecting to the windows
2000 server? Do I need to worry about them losing their connection after
the expiration or do the temorary license flip automatically as long as they
don't attempt to connect to the 2k3 ts server and run an application.

Per User licensing neither track or enforced in Windows 2003. on your
Win2k server did you use the reghack so it can find the new license
server automatically?

No i have not applied the reg hack. (where do i find it?)

Here is my big dilema. I need to make sure my clients are still able to
access the windows 2003 server after their temp lic. expire. Does that make
sense. While I do still need RDP access to my 2k TS I really really need to
keep the 2k3 ts accessable so i am freaked out by the expiration dates.

You will never see a license handed out if your terminal server is in
per license mode. This is because no licenses are handed out which
means you do not have to worry about expiration.

Well expiration date came and everyone still has access on both the 2000 ts
and the 2003 ts. Whew....
