Hello all,

I would like to create an application that can display some charts and I would like to try out the MS Chart Controls. I have installed all the packages according to the instructions on the download page.

I created a dialog-based MFC Application project and I tried to include a chart control in the dialog view, however the corresponding controls in the Toolbox are not accessible. This means they are there, but they are inactive and I cannot interact with them.

I also tried with a Windows Forms Application project, and in this case the controls area available and I could include a chart in the display. This means the installation was fine and the controls should be available.

Is there any other setting that I should do so that the control is available for an MFC application? Right click->Choose items shows the chart controls are selected.

I am using VC++ 2008.

Thanks in advance,

Valentin
