Whats New in this Release?

The long awaited version of Aspose.Slides for Java (7.6.0) has been released. This is a major release in which many new features have been included. We have introduced support for generating a password protected PDF. In the past, many of our customers have reported issues with how to tell whether the Aspose.Slides license is applied properly in their application. To help them, we have introduced support for verifying if the license is properly applied and even resetting it. We have also introduced support for using custom fonts without installing them from a predefined location. For more details about this feature, please read about custom fonts in our documentation section. We have also resolved many presentation cloning, and presentation and slide rendering issues in this release. The API’s overall rendering performance has been improved as well. Some important bug fixes included in this release are given below

  • Support for property to update the footer text
  • Support for exporting audio, video and other data in generated HTML
  • Support for exporting embedded videos inside generated SVG
  • Support for password protection of generated PDF
  • Support for checking if License is applied in application or not
  • Support for option to show chart legends without overlapping chart
  • Add method for clear cache in FontsLoader
  • PDF as OLE Object now working properly
  • Embedded font issue is resolved in the generated PDF
  • Exported PDF contains artifacts is fixed
  • Chart series are rendered in wrong color in generated thumbnail is now fixed
  • Parameter Exception is resolved on generating PDF
  • FormatException: Input string is now in correct format on generating PDF
  • Scatter chart with markers is rendered as scatter chart with lines and markers
  • Setting DisplayEquation and DisplayRSquaredValue to false for a trend line does not work
  • PPTX Presentation created in Aspose.Slides can be opened in PowerPoint 2007
  • Exporting presentation to HTML hanging during export is resolved
  • Chart grid lines missing is fixed when presentation is saved using Aspose.Slides
  • Chart labels missing is resolved in rendered thumbnail and PDF
  • The value axis data missing is fixed in generated PDF
  • The text boxes are converted into images when saving the PPT presentation
  • Charts missing in generated PDF is fixed
  • Chart data table is missing in generated PDF is fixed
  • Chart area is now properly rendered in generated PDF
  • Value axis labels missing in generated PDF is resolved
  • Chart series labels are rendered in three lines

Overview: Aspose.Slides for .NET

Aspose.Slides is a .NET component to read, write and modify a PowerPoint document without using MS PowerPoint. PowerPoint versions from 97-2007 and all three PowerPoint formats: PPT, POT, PPS are also supported. Now you can create, access, copy, clone, edit and delete slides in your presentations.
