Problem converting Urdu Text written in Rich text box into pdf using iTextSharp!

I am developing an application in which i write Urdu text and want it to get converted into pdf and for that purpose i am using library called iTextSharp but the problem is that it is when i have English text, it converts it fine and text can be seen in pdf but when i try to convert Urdu text, though it convert it into pdf file but when you open the file then there is no text! I dont know why! Can anybody let me know why Urdu is not being shown by it?
