Form with Autoscroll Focus on Datagridview triggers scroll

I was experiencing the same issue as stated below:

I also tried the solution given in that thread. It worked! However, the screen flickers when I click on the datagridview, because there is a brief moment where the scrollbar goes back and forth and this is causing a disturbance in the GUI.

Is there a better way to handle this issue? or can I improve my existing solution?
