Re: chkdsk logs in Vista 64(need help)

I need help to locate these logs. I ran chkdsk to see if I had any problems.
When it finishes running I don't have a chance to view if it found any
errors & fixed them. The screen just fly's by.I went to event viewer & looked
for the logs for chkdsk but, cannot seem to locate them.
Are they viewable in the event viewer? If so what are they called & under
what (group-heading) do I look for the log files?
Carlos I could not see any references to wininet in the event viewer?

Thanks

Hugh,
2nd. try here:
http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=779895&SiteID=17
and it goes something like this:
"administrative tools - event viewer - windows logs - application - click on
'source' at the middle top ..follow it down (or up) alphabetically to
'wininit' and click on it to view ..or double click it to bring another
window up with it"

Thanks Carlos
I had to do a (find) in action column to find the wininit.log
viewed it now.........strange thing is wininit log file was dated 05/11/2007
7:59:32 AM
but I ran chkdsk this morning 06/11/2007 that's why I could not find the log
entree for today.
How could the chkdsk log have the wrong date on it??Is it reading the date
from the bios,I'll have to check date in bios setup.

Thanks Carlos
