Heyho,
our application uses the COM technology to interop/automate Excel. A few of our customers are using the Office 365 Click-to-Run version. Recently some of these customers started reporting that they are not able to interop/automate Excel from within our application.
I already found out that the Click-to-Run version of Office 365 gets installed in a virtual kind of sandbox on the local computer. So I am wondering if this makes it impossible to use COM for interop.
Can anyone confirm this or even tell me where to find some information concerning this issue?
Regards
René
