There has got to be a serious bug with the vs_community.exe application.
I have been unable to download using the web installer (ran for 24 hrs, wasn't even 50% of the way finished).
I'm currently downloading a local layout with just the Desktop C++ package.
I can see the download progress in a cmd (setup.exe) that is spawned from the following command:
C:\Users\Raffy\Downloads> ./vs_community.exe --layout c:\vs2017layout --add Microsoft.VisualStudio.Workload.NativeDes
ktop --includeRecommended --lang en-US
The download will progress for about 1-2% and then stop and do absolutely nothing. Task manager shows 0% CPU and 0% network utilization. If I restart the progress, it will do another % or so, then stop.
For each file it downloads, I can copy-paste the URL into my web browser and download it at 15 MB/s.
What the heck is going on?
