I am having a difficult time finding a place to ask these questions, and am going to try here since it mostly concerns installation. I couldn't find a forum for C++/cli. If there are better places could I get exact locations please?
First, this is a response about visual studio from MSDN forum about total space required:
The ‘Total space required’ is depend on the option that you selected or unchecked, the value bigger than 0 zero, which mean you select some options to install, and the value lower than 0 zero means the installed options be unchecked to uninstall.
How it seems to be is that if there is a positive number the installer can be giving the total amount of space of the already installed features. If it's negative I think something installed is unchecked. Is this true?
I am also having a problem with C++/CLI. After I install it from "desktop development with C++" and go back to the summary it is unchecked. I would assume that this is a known problem.
Also, I am wondering how to set up C++/CLI for use in : ".NET desktop development" and "Universal Windows Platform development"
Thank you,
