How to set size and image on a CMFCCustomizeButton object?

The default appearance of the customize button (CMFCCustomizeButton) at the end of the toolbar is a chevron. I found there are methods SetExtraSize() and SetImage() which can set the size and image of the customize button, I've tried calling both method but they don't work. Could you let me know how to change the size and image of the customize button?
