Sample apps for 2017 did not install

I am setting up VS C++ Community 2017. I found the large supply of sample apps at the link below but they will only work with VS C++2012. Is there a list of sample apps like this for VS C++ 2017. Are the sample apps installed separately from the main program VS C++2017.
