What are the differences for Visual Studio 2017 when Windows system UI set to Traditional Chinese / English?

Because the RibbonBar behaviors are different in different UI system.

That is , RibbonBar control can NOT display Traditional Chinese characters when Windows system is set to English but it can display Traditional Chinese characters when Windows system is set to Traditional Chinese.

Below are the detailed illustration.


My system is Windows 10 Professional Traditional Chinese Version

There are three languages UI installed on my system, they are 中文，Русский, and English.

When the system UI is changed to English.

I use the DotNetBar ribbon component on my application, the English / Русский can display on ribbonBar control, but Chinese characters can NOT display on ribbonBar control, shown below

(DotNetBar is a UI library provided by third party, DevComponents co.)





But if the UI changed to Traditional Chinese, the Chinese characters CAN display on ribbonBar control, English / Русский can display on ribbonBar control also,
