Hi All,
I used the following
IEEE-754 Floating Point Converter
Convertor to check for the floating point value (0.00238044)
the equivalent binary = 0 01110110 00111000000000100101000
but If I remove first bit for sign (0) and the next eight bits for exponent01110110)
the mantissa = 00111000000000100101000;
I use the formula = 1*(2**-3)+ 1*(2**-4)+ 1*(2**-5)+... I get 0.2187
What mistake am i making in the conversion.
