I have vision problems and I use high contrast theme on the Windows 7 machine that I'm using for development. The problem is that as soon as I switch the theme to high contrast on Windows 7, visual studio also switches to a high contrast theme and that makes development very difficult because there is no syntax highlighting. I am actually comfortable with a dark theme on visual studio.
Is there a way that I could delinked the high contrast theme on Windows 7 with that of visual studio and use a dark theme on visual studio? Or is there a way that I can configure visuals to do to at least emulate a dark theme. If I manually copy the settings from a dark theme one by one, it becomes very difficult because there is a bewildering number of configuration and I'm not sure which wants to configure exactly.
Thank you for any inputs
