When setting up win 2000, My drive was partitioned as one big drive,
using all space on it.

Is there a way I can partition that drive C:\ into 2 drives, Drive C:\
and D:\
?

Yes, with a partition manager such as Acronis. There are some
free ones around too.
To avoid ambiguities, you might want to change your statement
"my drive was partitioned as one big drive" to
"my disk was partitioned as one big drive" for your next post.
