This has got to be the worst install experience for a microsoft Visual Studio installation ever. (and that's saying something)
Updating a component seemed to destroy my current installation. I now seem to have TWO versions installed (judgeing by the multiple icons and menu options i have) .
Trying to 'update' the installation results in the same installer file begin downloaded over and over, keeping multiple copies.
Trying to create a new project/solution was surprising in that I discovered that there are no longer any project types. No WinForms, no Console App, no WPF, ASP.Net apps, nothing... ALL The project types are missing.
I am DELETING THIS to go back to visual studio 2015
