I hope someone can point me in the right direction if this is not the correct forum area:
For starters, I am using:
- Windows 10 Pro 1809 17763.55
- Visual Studio Premium 2012 Version 11.0.50727.1
(I know the version of Visual Studio I am using is older, but I need it for my homework and labs for one of my classes)
My problem is, since the 1809 update earlier this month, I cannot run Visual Studio 2012 solutions on my personal computer that I created with the school's computers, which are still running W10 1709 Enterprise. I keep getting the error "Load Library failed with error 87: The parameter is incorrect."
I also have the same error intermittently when I try to open a project in NetBeans 8.2, if that helps anything.
As far as Windows Update tells me every time I check for updates, I'm all good when it comes to those.
Searching the Internet with that error isn't really pointing me in the right direction, as it apparently can be any number of things that I'm pretty sure are not necessarily related to Visual Studio.
Thank you, I'm happy to provide additional information if needed.
