Unexpectedly, perhaps since the last update, I have noticed that datasets residing in a sub-folder of a project are not visible in the data sources window. If I move the dataset up to reside just below the main project all of its contents reappear in the Data Sources window. If the project is opened in VS2013 everything works normally.
Thinking I may have had some sort of corruption in the project, I created a new project as a test. The problem persists in VS2017 even in a new project. The DataSets appear but won't open up to show their contents. See image below.
