Hello everyone,
I've encountered the error "TF400969: An error occurred attempting to send the email. Retry at a later time." as written in my language "TF400969: Une erreur s'est produite lors de la tentative d'envoi du message électronique. Réessayez ultérieusement." twice in my VSTS use.
Both time I was trying to sens a simple WorkItem by mail.
First time, it resolved by changing the web browser (from IE to Chrome),
second time, the reason was the title of the WorkItem, indeed, the WorkItem allow a very long title but it crash when trying to send that WorkItem by mail. I then do recommand you to shorten the title of your WorkItem and try again.
I know I'm supposed to write a question here and people to answer it, but since nowere on the web I could find my so dearly wanted answer, I let it here for the next people who could encounter the same error and to whom the other posts won't answer the question.
