Hi all,
I am trying to install VS2017 Professional.
I initially ran the following command to create my layout; vs_professional.exe --layout c:\VS2017Layout --lang en-US
This as expected downloaded at about 40GB.
From here I am now not sure what to do, I know there are a number of commands I can run, one of which was;
E:\vs2017offline\vs_professional.exe --all --quiet --wait --norestart (E being the drive my files are now on)
But because I added in the --all it installed absolutely everything to do with VS and was about 190GB. If I remove the --all it only seems to install about 1GB worth which I think must be the basic install.
I just want it to install all of the compontents I downloaded in my initial 40GB download. I am sure I am doing something stupid and would appreciate someone help with this.
Thanks
Fraser
