I have been having some boot issues since the last windows update. I thought to try System Restore to see if that would solve the problems. When I opened System Restore, all my recent restore points have been overridden with new points created by "Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x64) - 12.0.30501". MS Visual C++ is creating a new system restore point at a set interval (approximately every 62 minutes). So, the last 7 restore points (all that are shown) have been made over the past 7 hours, all by MS Visual C++.
How do I prevent this from happening, because if this continues, my System Restore will be rendered useless as any clean restore points will be overridden, as is the case now.
(I have since fixed the boot issues that originally caused me turn to System Restore, so I am not concerned about that factor as needing to be solved)
