Vs2010 macros have stopped working with the latest Win10 1809 update

I have Visual Studio 2010 installed on my Windows 10 Home laptop. I had done the various fixes to .config files to make macros work after a Windows update back in 2014. All was great until my laptop did the latest 1809 update. Macros have stop working again! Does anyone have any idea what might have happened to do this? Is there another fix?
