Hi
When I local install vcredist 2015 package on windows server 2008 sp2, it works well. But when I install this package from remote server, the package install hangs. Here remote install is I remote call a bat which lays on windows server 2008 sp2. This bat calls install package.
From installation log, I find it stops at "Apply complete, result: 0x0, restart: None, ba requested restart: No".
Here is the local install success log:
Compare with these two logs, we find when remote install, the install process hang at "Apply complete, result: 0x0, restart: None, ba requested restart: No". and not execute "Shutting down, exit code: 0x0".
This situation only happens on windows server 2008 sp2, and not occur on windows server 2008 r2 sp1 or higer version os.
Can anybody tell me the different of vcredist 2015 installation between local and remote install on windows server 2008 sp2?
