Installer doesn't recognise Visual Studio installation on D: drive

I have installed Visual Studio 2017 Community Edition on my second drive (D:) instead of my system drive (C:), which is an SSD, in order to save space on the SSD. Now I want to uninstall it and reinstall it on my C: drive. However, when I run the installer, there is no option to modify, repair or uninstall and removing it from Apps & Features also sends me to the installer, where the same problem occurs. I also tried setting the install path manually as a command-line option, but then it throws an error saying that "an installed product matching the following parameters cannot be found". I also ran InstallCleanup, but it simply deleted the installer. How can I resolve this issue?
