I asked a question about this last year, and since then no solution has been discovered.
Is VisualStudio intentionally designed to making HTML style coding a chore?
Whenever I attempt to code in XAML if I typed a small part of what I need, say "<Set " and hit the spacebar or type a period, that section will be completely replaced by something completely different from what I typed.
Does anyone else suffer from this problem with any Iteration of Visual Studio? It's the only thing that keeps me from using VS to edit any kind of HTML based code. I just use Notepad as an alternative, because VSCode also has that same problem.
I enjoy VisualStudio a lot, but this is a serious problem that keeps me from fully utilizing it. Does anyone have any plug-in that could cripple this aspect of VS or some work around, or an actual way of disabling this that doesn't require me resetting my settings then re-unchecking the "Auto-Completion" Check-boxes only to have it have no effect whatsoever?
