Hello world,

I'm currently working on Text-to-speech Visual Basic 2010 desktop application--it's almost ready to be published as open source--and it offers the possibility to output Text-to-Speech to an audio file (.wav format only), and also unlocks Cortana's TTS voice--if available on the user's computer, and supports SSML 1.0

Since I've to write a readme file, and a ELUA for my users --the software is developed for Windows 10 desktop--I wonder if I should inform the user about using the generated audio files?

I wonder if the audio output of MS-TTS voices are only meant for personal, non-commercial use? Or are my users allowed to use the audio for commercial use? Including YouTube, etc.? And does this also applies to Cortana's TTS voice(s), which is superior in quality in comparison to any other TTS voice?

I know, this is a copyright issue, related to the EULA (but I do need some beta testers, so if anyone is interested in trying out TTS++, then please contact me) then related to programming issues.
Anyway, I hope someone can give a clear answer, which will also help my future users (if any).

Best regards,
Cynthia
