Changing Permissons of FTP'ed File

I am very new to .NET and I am trying to create an application that uploads a file to a server via FTP and then changes the permissions of the file once it is on the server. I am FTP'ing the file up to a linux server.

I got the FTP part to work fine but i can't seem to find any articles or documentation on how to change file permissions remotely.

Any help or guidance on this would be very much appreciated.
