I searched for applications that can edit html web pages and found an article stating that Visual Studio can do that. Great, I have VS 2017, opened in and navigated to the html file of the web page I am working on. Upon arriving there, VS would not display the contents of the directory containing that web page. So I opened Windows Explorer, found the file -> right click -> copy as path and paste into the file open dialog, the image shown. VS ignores the name and keeps the Open button dialog.
I don’t want a solution, or a special directory. I just want to edit this html file.
What are the steps to do that?
