Hi,
I am experiencing a problem I've never had before. I have a new PC with Windows Server 2019 and newly installed VS 2017 with all latest updates.
If I run Visual Studio in a regular mode I can create new projects and can load an existing solution.
However, once I start VS in admin mode I can do nothing. The list of installed templates in New project dialog is empty.
When trying to load solution with projects I get:
Unsupported
This version of Visual Studio is unable to open the following projects. The project types may not be installed or this version of Visual Studio may not support them.
For more information on enabling these project types or otherwise migrating your assets, please see the details in the "Migration Report" displayed after clicking OK.
No migration report is generated after that.
I would appreciate any help in resolving the problem, as some of the actions in the solution are possible only when VS is running in admin mode
