I am tring to install my legal,purchased copy of Visual Studio 2008 but am stumped when I get to the request for the product Key.
It looks like it wants 5 groups of 5 characters to be entered into the 5 boxes but the Certificate of Authenticity label does not seem to have such a code.
These two seem like candidates but do not seem to be in the correct format. Is one of these the product key and if so, how is it to be entered into the boxes?
A: 99994-637-824-112 X12-08297
B: 6000110983-1-723892-SLOU
This seems as if it should be obvious but nothing I have tried has allowed me to get past this step of the installation.
Please let me know how to do this "simple" step.
