I have a purchased version of Visual Studio 2008, Pfofessional Editiion and during installation I am asked to enter the product key. It should be on the certificate of authenticity but it is not labeled as the Product Key. To enter the Key there are 5 boxes, each of which seems to hold 5 characters but it is not clear how to enter 6000110983-1-723892-SLOU in the requested format so it rejects the entered key. The only other number that could be the key on the certificate of authenticity is 99994-637-824-112 X12-08297 which is just as difficult to know how it is to be entered. Is either of these numbers the Product Key and, if so, how are they to be entered into the 5 boxes? Thank you.

This has been answered. Despite the fact that the on-screen instruction say to look at the Certificate of Authentication, the product key is actually inside the case opposite the CD's!
