How do I get rid of the "Visual Studio 2019" folder in My Documents?

Moving the "Visual Studio 2019" directory from My Documents works once you have set the directories in Tools.Options>Projects and Solutions>Locations. It still works if you rename the base directory from "Visual Studio 2019". However VS 2019 insists on creating a "Visual Studio 2019" and creating a "StartPages" directory within it. There seems to be various registry tweaks that can be done with older versions of VS, but none of the entries are available in VS2019 registry. A search for "Visual Studio 2019" reveals nothing of consequence.
