I'm looking into getting VS2019 for our dev team on a monthly subscription, including setting up an on-premise Azure DevOps server using the server license and CALs that are included in the subscription.
If we were to cancel the subscription at a later date, would we no longer be able to use these products? (This makes sense, as someone could subscribe for a couple of months then continue using the software, effectively getting it at a knock-down price).
What about the "standard" (annual) subscription - is this any different? There's a huge difference in price between a single annual payment and 12 monthly payments, so I'm wondering what the advantages are of an annual subscription over monthly. I'm assuming this would be perpetual once cancelled?
