How do I launch a .vshost file?

Hi! I recently made a small C# program, but I can't seem to launch it. I've pressed 'Build' in the solutions explorer, and it just made a .vshost in the bin folder. Is there supposed to be a .exe? Because it's not building one for me. Could anyone assist me?
