Access is denied when writing a programs output file to C: drive

So I'm trying to compile a Cryptography program for fun and i have to use it x86 format not Any CPU or i get even more problems but when i try to write it to C:\<foldernamehere> (don't want to write the name of it because the codes not mine) it says access is denied or C:\<FolderName>\<16_random_characters.exe> is not found, one or the other errors appear. I Search For The Folder in the search bar not there use the the address bar its there Right Click It says it's hidden but Hidden folder option is greyed out. The codes not mine the person who owns it is very helpful but i think he's in Europe or some where a head or behind me so it's hard for communication. I'm using C# if that helps.
