VS2019 opens a previous source file not the current one.

Very strange problem with VS2019.

I have a project that was developed using VS2017 community.

This edits and works great.

However, if I open the same project in VS2019 it somehow opens an older version of the source files.

Looking through the project folder and looking a the files these old files just don't exist.
