I believe this is due to a recent replacement of my computer and a fresh install of VS 2015. When I'm in source control, if I right click an item and select Compare, I usually get a little window that allows me to select what changesets to compare. I usually accept the default of what my workstation version is vs the last checked in changeset. However, when I click Compare, nothing happens. If I try to do anything else, i just hear a "ding" no matter where I click. If I hit Escape, then things are back to normal. it's like it tries to open the little window to specify what to compare, but I'm not finding it anywhere. Please tell me there's a way to fix this. It's really frustrating not being able to tell if I want to discard my changes, etc. I end up having to copy my workstation and server versions to a folder and using Beyond Compare to see what's different. Very tedious effort vs just being able to click Compare in source control.
