Deploying Visual Studio Console Application

I am using Visual Studio 2017 to create a console application. From the project I use Build to a local folder. I then copy that folder to my workstation where I want to install my program. I run the setup and it installs to a folder that is hard to find under user/appdata…. Is there a way to specify the installation to be in a particular folder or in program files?
